Live or demo account?
If you're new to trading or looking to practise your trading strategies in a risk-free environment, we recommend opening a demo account.
If you're an experienced trader or prefer to learn by doing, our live account allows you to trade with live executions and pricing. A live account also gives you access to more of our award-winning resources – from market analysis and knowledge to in-depth support.

Complete our simple application form - simply provide your name, email address, phone number and password.
2. Download your trading platform
Choose from four powerful platforms, TradingView, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, or trade through your web browser with our WebTrader app.
3. Start trading
Practise your trading strategies with up to £/€/$50,000 in virtual funds and real market pricing for the next 30 days.
How to open a live account
1. Create your login
Enter your details and choose a password to create your account.
2. Take our appropriateness test
This short questionnaire allows us to assess whether trading derivative products is appropriate for you.
3. Confirm your ID
Where we do not electronically identify you, we’ll need two ID documents from you – a photo ID (passport, driver's license or national ID card) and a secondary ID (a bank or utility statement with your full name and address dated in the last six months).
The easiest way to upload these documents is to take a photo of the ID with your phone. Please note that we can't accept black and white images or scanned copies of your ID and, depending on where you’re from, we may require additional documentation.
If there are any issues with your application, we'll email you with clear instructions on what to do next. We're also available 24/7 on live chat to answer any questions you might have.
4. Fund and trade
Once your application is approved, you can log in and fund your account. If you’d like to discuss funding options or need help deciding how much to deposit, get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
