Funding and withdrawals

You can deposit and withdraw funds using Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, debit and credit cards, and domestic and international bank transfers.

At Pepperstone, we only charge fees on international bank transfer withdrawals ($20 deduction from your trading account balance). Withdrawals are free to all other payment methods, and deposits are always free.

Withdrawals processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and debit/credit cards take up to 1 business day. Domestic and international bank transfer withdrawals take up to 2 working days.

You can fund your Standard or Razor Pepperstone account with GBP, USD, EUR and CHF.

There is no minimum deposit amount for domestic and international bank transfers. Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and debit/credit cards require a €10 minimum deposit. There is no maximum deposit amount.

The main differences between funding your Pepperstone account via bank transfer vs card are processing times and costs. Deposits made by card arrive immediately, whereas domestic and international bank transfer deposits can take up to 2 working days. If you choose to use an international bank transfer to deposit, we will deduct $20 from your trading account balance.

You cannot fund your Pepperstone account or withdraw from it using cryptocurrencies in Europe.

There are a number of measures that we put in place to ensure that your funds are protected with Pepperstone:

• Your money is held in segregated client bank accounts at regulated banks.

• Your money is distributed across major banks regularly assessed against Pepperstone’s risk criteria.

• Your money and assets will never be merged with Pepperstone’s own money and assets.

• Pepperstone does not use retail client money for hedging trades with other counterparties.

• Your money and assets are protected from creditors in the unlikely event Pepperstone goes into liquidation.

Yes, you can withdraw funds from your account back to a different account than you deposited from. However, the account to which you want to withdraw funds must have already been approved by Pepperstone.

To withdraw profits from your Pepperstone trading account, simply log in to your 'my account' and select the 'Funds' tab. Then, click on the 'Withdraw Funds' tab to find all withdrawal options.

You’ll need to confirm the withdrawal request within one hour by clicking the "Accept Withdrawal" link embedded within the withdrawal confirmation email. If your account has 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled, simply enter the code from your authenticator app to confirm the withdrawal.

In some cases, it can take longer than expected for your funds to reach your account. This could be for a number of reasons, including the following:

• Your payment provider rejected the funds

• Incorrect account details were entered

• The beneficiary bank or the intermediary/correspondent bank could be causing delays because of their regulatory processes

If it’s been longer than expected for your withdrawal to be processed and your bank has not been able to locate the funds, please email funding@pepperstone.com and we can provide you with a receipt for the withdrawal.

If you present this receipt to your bank, they'll be able to either locate your funds for you or explain why they couldn't accept them.

Yes, if you deposit via Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or a or debit/credit card, your funds will arrive immediately.

If you request a withdrawal at the weekend or on a bank holiday, it may take longer to arrive, as Pepperstone only processes withdrawals on working days.
