Sean MacLean

Sean is a research strategist at Pepperstone, based in Melbourne. With a statistical focus on the inter-connectivity of financial markets, Sean’s analysis portrays how macro and political themes move markets and takes a closer look at the sensitivities trading instruments have to impending event risk. Assessing global macro events, economic data, and political themes, Sean’s work seeks clarity and a probability framework of the unknown, which can guide risk management and position sizing decisions as part of the trading process. Holding a conjoint Bachelor of Commerce and Arts, Sean is now undertaking his masters in econometrics at Monash University.
