通胀来了!?

美国3月通胀数据出炉,黄金上演绝地反击,美股和比特币再创新高!

最新数据显示,美国3月CPI同比增长2.6%,创2018年8月以来最快增速,好于预期的2.5%和前值1.7%,而核心CPI同比上涨1.6%,同样好于预期。不过美国30年期国债拍卖的强劲需求抵消了数据的影响,压低了长端国债收益率。其中10年期收益率跌至1.61%附近,进一步远离两周前的一年高点1.77%。

对于收益率(和美元指数)的回落,黄金的走势最为敏感,金价昨天从日内低位一口气拉升了近25美元,最终收于1745,结束了连续两天的下跌。

有些交易者认为黄金作为抗通胀的产品,在通胀率回升的时候将会得到强劲的支撑。这个观点本身没有错,问题在于通胀率真的开始回升并且带来风险了吗?

若仔细观察美国的通胀数据,尤其是核心CPI(1.6%)和PCE(1.4%),离美联储设定的2%的平均目标还有不小的距离。而所谓“平均”,则意味着美联储希望看到通胀率在一段时间内能在2%上方运行。另外,从预期通胀的角度来看 ,10年期的盈亏平衡通胀率近来一直稳定2.3%附近,没有进一步的走高。正像美联储所坚持认为的那样,通胀率回升可能只是暂时的现象(至少要等去年低基数和1400美元支票的影响消退后才能确认)。因此,黄金想要顺利突破1760从而形成双底反弹的形态,或许还要费一番周折。

加密货币交易平台Coinbase即将登陆纳斯达克的消息形成了完美的催化剂,比特币、以太坊、莱特币等主流加密货币纷纷刷新新高。比特币在今天亚洲时段延续升势突破了64000美元。

在加密货币市场总市值突破2万亿美元大关之际,比特币的市场占有率却降至了55%左右,这是自2019年4月以来的最低水平。这向市场传递了一个明确的信号,即越来越多的加密货币获得了投资者的青睐。另外值得注意的是,从3月开始,比特币和黄金的相关性正在逐渐增强。

随着交易所上市,更多的ETF设立、机构的加码持仓,加密货币的主流化趋势愈发明显。而在这一过程中,比特币的波动率则逐步降低。目前30天的实际波动率已经从年初的90%降到了39%。更多元化的投资渠道以及更稳定的价值显然将增加比特币的吸引力。但值得注意的是,比特币在今年前三个月每次创新高之后,都有10%左右的回撤,而目前RSI指标并没有走出更高的高点。

最后我们再来重点看一下美股。

收益率回落,令股市(尤其是科技股)狂欢。标普500和纳斯达克周二刷新历史新高,道指继续在记录高位附近运行。

标普500的实际波动率和隐含波动率(VIX)都在持续走低。不同的模型显示,市场中的乐观情绪和投资者对股市资产配置的比重可以说都达到了历史高点。值得担心的是,美股的整体交易量正在萎缩,技术指标也出现了顶背离,这并不利于股指再创新高。

另外,科技股和小盘股的命运正在面临反转,纳斯达克100指数(NAS100)和罗素2000指数(US2000)的比率(蓝线)已经从3月的低点回升至2月的水平。当时的科技股是一路高歌猛进,风光无限。

华尔街大型银行将拉开本次美股财报季的大幕。当地时间周三,率先登场的是摩根大通、高盛和富国银行,周四将迎来花旗和美国银行,而摩根士丹利则在周五公布业绩。

去年四季度大型银行的业绩普遍好于预期。本次我们可以继续关注银行的交易和投行业务的营收和贷款风险准备的计提。对冲基金Archegos爆仓后对大型银行带来的后续影响也值得投资者留意。

市场普遍预期标普500成分股的一季度净利润增长25%,而金融业的净利润则预计将暴增76%。标普500的金融行业ETF指数(XLF)今年累计涨幅接近20%,并于近日创下新高,而同期标普500涨幅仅有10%左右。

除了业绩数字之外,CEO们对未来的业绩的前瞻指引,以及银行业7月开始重新分红和股票回购的动向也值得关注。
