此次會議的主要內容有以下幾點：
- 鮑威爾暗示縮減購債最早可能從11月開始，並於2022年年中結束（若以8個月左右的周期來算，初步估計為平均每個月減碼150億美元）。聲明中首次出現了“放緩資產購買速度”
- 9名委員預測2022年加息，6月時為7名
- 17名委員預測2023年加息，6月時為13名
- 上調2021-2023年的通脹預測
- 下調2021年GDP增速，但上調2022和2023年的GDP預測
- 上調2021年失業率， 2022和2023年的保持不變

美元指數（USDX）再次逼近關鍵阻力位93.45附近。若完全突破後可能會迎來更強勁的上升趨勢。但值得註意的是，利率掉期市場隱含的2022至2024年的聯邦基金利率要低於美聯儲委員的預測。長端債券收益率昨天小幅下降，收益率曲線趨於平坦。
美元指數（USDX）
在美元走強的影響下，黃金未能突破1780/85區域以及趨勢線1787。短線關註下方1750的支撐，若跌破恐將加速跌向1818一線。
XAUUSD H4
除了黃金之外，大宗商品價格周三全線走高，尤其是鈀金（XPDUSD）拉漲6%至2000美元上方。美國原油庫存跌至2018年以來最低水平，WTI原油跳升至72美元。鐵礦石遠離一年多以來的低點，銅價上漲近3%。
大宗商品價格的回暖幫助商品貨幣（AUD,CAD,NOK等）走強，但歐元和英鎊則延續頹勢跌至一個月低點。
今天有三家歐洲國家的央行將公布政策聲明。其中英國和瑞士央行預計按兵不動，而挪威則大概率成為首先加息的發達經濟體。數據方面關註歐元區和英國的9月PMI初值。
除日本外，昨天全球主要股市普漲。
恒大承諾按期支付人民幣債券利息的消息暫時安撫了市場情緒。雖然8350萬的美元利息能否按時償還尚未可知，但即使今天無法按期支付，恒大仍有30天的“寬限期”來避免債務違約。另外關於恒大將“有序拆封”的消息也緩解了全球投資者的擔憂，因為這將避免當前的債務危機升級成系統性風險。
