繼密歇根大學消費者信心指數刷新紀錄低位後，美國經濟諮商會的消費者信心指數也創下了15個月新低，且對未來12個月的通脹預期來到了8%，為1987年以來最高水平。
今晚將公布的第一季度GDP終值預計-1.5%不變。而亞特蘭大聯儲的模型顯示，第二季度成長率為0.3%。離」連續兩個季度負增長「的衰退定義僅一步之遙。而長時間高通脹所形成的破壞力會在下半年的經濟數據中逐漸顯現出來。
同樣需要時間來做出反應的是企業的盈利狀況。在美股跌入熊市的這段期間，標普500的EPS預測並沒有出現任何的下降跡象，這也意味著股市估值的下滑所反應的基本上是利率升高的影響，尚沒有體現出衰退的因素。換句話說，7月中旬開始的財報季，我們可能會看到更多的盈利預測下修，而屆時美股恐怕還會引發一波拋售，從而讓股指下探更低的底部區域。哪裏才是真正的底？可以參考下圖2002年的走勢圖。

原油價格居高不下同樣會令股市承壓。如果要追根溯源，油價應該是催生此輪通脹並醞釀衰退的真正原因。但目前的油價還是相當堅挺，WTI和布倫特分別在113和115美元上方。
最近G7又在思考對俄羅斯原油實施新的製裁，如限定價格上限。而事實證明，每一輪的製裁之後油價總能找到上漲的理由（俄羅斯總能找到規避的方法），而施加製裁的國家只能默默扛下了所有。此外沙特等產油國也表示產能已經接近極限，供應吃緊的情況還在延續。看上去油市的供需關系還沒有達到零界點，這也意味股市存在進一步下跌的空間。
如果市場情緒一再遭到打壓，避險美元自然會獲得更多的青睞，預計將在完成調整後再次測試6月中旬的高點105.52。歐元的反彈之路在50天均線附近再度折戟。盡管拉加德昨天重申了加息的路徑但明顯不及市場預期。今天可以關註歐洲央行論壇上各位央行行長們的講話。
